Every child currently covered by Medicaid or CHIP will need to go through a renewal process within the next several months. Keep your child covered and healthy. Medicaid and CHIP: Dental Health Coverage Provides Families with Peace of Mind

National Children’s Dental Health Month observed each February provides an opportune time for the Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign to highlight the importance of pediatric oral health care and explore the peace of mind that it can give parents and caregivers. This webinar, held in February 2024, featured speakers from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Indian Health Service, Seedco, and Aliados Health. Presenters discussed the latest data on barriers to dental care, highlighted the connection between behavioral health and oral health, shared an overview of the oral health benefits Medicaid and CHIP provide, offered insights for best practices when connecting with families, and shared resources to support outreach and enrollment available on InsureKidsNow.gov .
