IMPORTANT: Look for your child’s Medicaid or CHIP renewal in the mail, complete it and mail it back immediately. They may be covered even if you’re not! Every child currently covered by Medicaid or CHIP will need to go through a renewal process within the next several months. Keep your child covered and healthy. Complete the renewal as soon as you get it in the mail! Go to Medicaid.gov/renewals to find contact information for your state Medicaid office.

Connecting Kids to Coverage Outreach Partners

Thanks for Helping to Connect Kids to Coverage!

Organizations across the country have been instrumental in helping to connect eligible children to health coverage through Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).  By letting families know about the availability of affordable coverage and helping them enroll, millions of eligible children have gained access to important health benefits, including the preventive services that every child needs. Now, more parents may be eligible for Medicaid and they have been getting enrolled, as well. Enrollment is open year-round!

The national organizations listed below have been helping to advance health coverage for children through Medicaid and CHIP by hosting webinars, posting information and videos on websites and social media, publishing newsletter articles, sharing materials with their state chapters and members, and more. At the state level and in local communities, groups–including our Connecting Kids to Coverage grantees and others–have customized and distributed outreach materials, sponsored outreach and enrollment activities, generated media attention, and provided application assistance for families with eligible children.

We thank these organizations and all those whose efforts have helped to ensure that children have the health coverage they need to stay healthy.
