This summer, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is launching the Get Covered. Get in the Game. Campaign in seven pilot states, including Colorado, Florida, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Wisconsin. The pilot is designed to bring coaches, schools, families and communities together to raise awareness about available health coverage and get eligible children enrolled. This campaign is the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) response to the Connecting Kids to Coverage challenge issued by HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

A series of pre-recorded radio PSAs to support local efforts to raise awareness about the availability of CHIP and Medicaid are available. Downloadable 20, 30, and 60 second pre-recorded radio PSAs are available in English and Spanish. Work with local radio stations to air the PSAs, and use them to record your organization’s “on-hold” music!
